Memphis FabricMEM108

MEM108 is a deep charcoal-black faux leather with a fine, irregular grain visible across the surface. Its near-black tone reads understated and tailored, while the subtle variation in the grain keeps the swatch from looking completely flat.

About this fabric

The dark charcoal colour sits just short of true black, with delicate tonal shifts catching across the lightly pebbled surface. Made from 80% polyurethane and 20% cotton, this 138cm-wide faux leather is specified for Contract, Domestic and Healthcare upholstery. Professional aftercare is required, and its flame retardancy is rated Contract. The restrained grain and deep colour make the material especially suited to structured seating where a clean, low-pattern finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use MEM108 on a contemporary sofa, dining chair or banquette where its charcoal-black tone can anchor lighter walls, pale timber or brushed metal. Its subtle grain adds close-up texture without introducing a visible pattern.

Use this near-black, lightly grained faux leather to give seating a crisp, tailored finish in contemporary or commercial interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
