Tone Persian Red

Tone Fabric

Tone Persian Red is a richly shaded, wine-dark textile with an understated woven surface. Its deep red tone appears softened by plum-burgundy depth rather than reading as a bright scarlet.

About this fabric

The swatch shows an even, plain textile in a deep Persian red that shifts towards burgundy and plum in the darker areas. Its surface has a fine, low-contrast texture, giving the colour gentle variation without introducing a visible motif. The dense-looking face and restrained texture make it particularly well suited to upholstered pieces where a dark, saturated colour can provide visual weight. In lower light, this colourway reads especially moody and enveloping, while the subtle surface texture prevents it from appearing completely flat.

How to use it

Use Tone Persian Red on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa to create a warm, cocooning focal point. Balance its wine-dark depth with smoked neutrals, dark timber and small touches of aged metal.

Use this deep burgundy red to bring moody warmth to tailored seating, especially alongside charcoal, walnut or aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
