About this fabric
The surface reads as a muted terracotta with a russet undertone, sitting warmer and earthier than a conventional beige tan. Fine, low-contrast texture is visible across the face, while the diffuse light leaves the colour looking soft rather than glossy. Catalogued as a fabric with no performance features noted, its balanced visual weight makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery applications.
How to use it
Use Tone Tan to bring a warm, clay-coloured anchor to neutral rooms, especially alongside chalky creams, tobacco leather, walnut and brushed metal. Its understated texture works well on tailored seating or relaxed curtains where a strong pattern would feel too busy.
Pair this warm clay tone with natural timber, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass for a grounded, softly tailored scheme.
