Teddy Cedar

Teddy Fabric

Teddy Cedar is a warm, earthy terracotta shade with a softly fleeced surface that gives the plain cloth a gentle, tactile depth. Its close-up texture reads as cosy and inviting rather than sleek or formal.

About this fabric

The fabric is an even cedar terracotta, balanced between muted rust and warm brown, with fine tonal variation across the surface. A dense, short pile creates the characteristic teddy-like handle visible in the close weave, while the soft nap catches the light in subtly darker and lighter flecks. With no pattern or repeat visible, the colour and texture provide the full visual interest. The substantial-looking surface makes this colourway especially well suited to upholstered furniture where its warm depth can be seen at close range.

How to use it

Pair Teddy Cedar with oat, biscuit and warm ivory upholstery for a softly layered scheme, or use it against charcoal and dark walnut to make the terracotta tone feel richer. It would bring a relaxed, tactile finish to an armchair, sofa, ottoman or scatter cushion.

Use this warm cedar terracotta shade to bring soft, earthy colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating, headboards or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
