Wave Rust

Wave Fabric

Wave Rust is a warm, muted terracotta colourway with a softly irregular woven surface. Fine vertical movement and pale thread variation give the rust tone a gently weathered, tactile appearance.

About this fabric

The fabric reads as a balanced rust and terracotta shade, with lighter threads lifting the surface rather than creating a flat block of colour. A close, fine weave forms delicate vertical striations alongside subtle horizontal flecks, producing a restrained crosshatched texture. Its mid-weight-looking woven construction makes it suitable for considering across upholstery and drapery applications, although no composition, width, rub-test or performance figures are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair Wave Rust with warm neutrals, aged timber and creamy textiles to soften its earthy terracotta depth. Its fine striation also works well where a plain fabric is needed with more visual texture, such as an occasional chair, cushion or relaxed curtain.

Use this warm rust weave to bring understated colour and tactile depth to seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
