About this fabric
Viewed closely, this fabric has a dense, short-pile-looking texture made up of tiny irregular fibres rather than a printed motif. The Carbon colourway sits between charcoal and softened black, with flecks of lighter grey preventing the surface from appearing flat. Its visually substantial weave makes it best suited to upholstery, particularly on sofas, armchairs and headboards where the tactile finish can be seen at close range. The low-contrast colouring keeps the overall effect controlled and smart rather than decorative.
How to use it
Pair Teddy Carbon with pale oak, warm stone and softly chalky walls to balance its near-black depth. It also works well as a grounding upholstery choice in a tonal grey room, where the fine texture provides interest in place of pattern.
