About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is made from 95% polyester and 5% lurex, giving the surface a faint shimmer that plays against the deeper brown base. At 140cm wide with a 24cm pattern repeat, Babylon Copper has a measured, decorative rhythm that suits statement upholstery pieces. The woven-look motif appears in burnished copper and toasted brown, creating a layered, slightly antique finish rather than a bright metallic shine. It feels smart and grounded, with enough warmth to soften darker interiors.

How to use it

Use this copper colourway on a sofa, armchair or ottoman where the subtle lurex can catch natural light. It pairs well with walnut, oxblood, deep green or aged brass for a rich, autumnal scheme.

Pair with warm woods and matte finishes to let the metallic flicker stand out.
