Rimini red
Rimini Fabricrimini/fa1/rus
Rimini Red shows a deep wine tone with a softly brushed, slightly lustrous surface. The close weave gives the colour a velvety depth that darkens and brightens as the light moves across it.

About this fabric
This colourway is a saturated red with burgundy and oxblood undertones, so it reads richer and moodier than a bright primary red. The fabric is made from 100% polyester and has a substantial 448 gsm weight, which supports its listed use for curtains, blinds and upholstery. With a Martindale rating of 25,000, it offers practical durability for everyday seating as well as window dressing. The plain surface and zero pattern repeat keep the focus on the texture and the tonal shifts visible in the weave. Dry clean only and do not iron.
How to use it
Use it to bring warmth and depth to a study, dining room or sitting room, especially alongside dark woods, brass and textured neutrals. Its wine-red finish also makes a strong contrast against pale walls and linen-toned accessories.
A rich, versatile red that works beautifully across tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.
Pairs well with
Rimini red is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
