Rimini Blue shows a moody teal-blue surface with a softly weathered, tonal finish. The weave reads tactile and substantial, with lighter flecks catching the light across the face.

About this fabric

This colourway has a cool, deep teal character rather than a bright blue, giving the cloth a calm, grounded look. Its 100% polyester composition and 448gsm weight point to a robust, versatile fabric, while the 25,000 Martindale rub test confirms it is well suited to upholstery as well as curtains and blinds. The surface has a gently brushed or slubbed appearance, with subtle variation that prevents the colour from feeling flat. With a usable width of 140cm and no pattern repeat, it offers a straightforward, contemporary finish for larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Rimini Blue on an armchair, ottoman or tailored curtain where its deep teal depth can add colour without overpowering the room. It works especially well with warm woods, stone neutrals and pale linens.

The rich teal tone and substantial handle make it ideal for tailored upholstery or structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
