HEATHCLIFF Wine 2

Haworth Fabric

HEATHCLIFF Wine 2 shows a bold tartan-style check in deep wine and burgundy tones, lifted by creamy cross-lines that add contrast and rhythm. The fabric has a woven, lightly structured look that gives the pattern crisp definition across the folds.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a Martindale result of 20,000, making it suitable for General Domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The check is scaled large at 35cm by 35cm, with warm wine-red fields threaded through with pale beige and cream stripes plus darker ground lines. In the image, the colour reads as a rich, dusky red rather than a bright crimson, with a slightly matte finish that softens the pattern. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery and has a colour fastness rating of 5.

How to use it

Use this wine check to bring warmth to a study, dining chair or banquette, especially alongside dark wood, brass and natural linen. For curtains, the deep red ground feels especially handsome in rooms that need a tailored, heritage note.

A rich checked cloth that works beautifully for tailored upholstery or statement curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside HEATHCLIFF Wine 2 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
