About this fabric

Rounded floral medallions and scrolling leaves create a dense, symmetrical pattern across the teal field, while ochre tendrils add a warm, antique note against the cooler blue-green ground. Pale blue and cream highlights catch across the leaf forms, giving the surface visual depth without overpowering the dominant teal tone. At 420 gsm with 30 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. It has a 137.2 cm usable width, with a 55 cm vertical repeat and 68.6 cm horizontal repeat to consider when planning patterned upholstery.

How to use it

Use Walthamstow Teal/Ochre on a statement armchair, footstool or sofa where its cool teal depth can be balanced by ochre, natural wood and warm metallic accents. The medium-scale botanical repeat is especially effective on pieces with enough surface area to show the framed medallion structure.

Use this richly detailed teal and ochre textile to bring ornate botanical pattern and warm contrast to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
