About this fabric

This Morris & Co. fabric weighs 554 gsm and has a 135 cm usable width, giving it a substantial specification for upholstery. The narrow stripes alternate teal, cream and tan, with darker lines adding definition between the lighter bands. Pattern repeats measure 19.2 cm horizontally and 0.9 cm vertically, producing a consistently fine-striped layout across the cloth. With 25.9 threads per cm and a standard length of 30 m, it offers a dense-looking, structured surface for larger upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use the cool teal as the dominant upholstery colour on a sofa, headboard or dining chair, balancing it with warm tan timber and cream walls. The vertical stripe helps give compact furniture a taller, more tailored appearance.

The cool teal and fine vertical striping bring tailored colour and visual height to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
