Kala Saffron brings a warm, saturated saffron-gold ground to Bibi’s repeating ornamental print. Cream ogee-shaped medallions, fine charcoal outlines and small botanical details give the surface a richly drawn, graphic character.

About this fabric
The design is formed from repeating cream medallions with pointed ogee edges, concentric diamond details and delicate floral marks, set against the saffron ground. Small charcoal and brown accents sharpen the motif without taking away from its predominantly golden, warm-toned appearance. Made from 100% linen, the fabric has the natural, lightly textured look associated with linen alongside its printed pattern. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a General Domestic upholstery grade and 3% shrinkage to allow for.
How to use it
Use Kala Saffron to warm a neutral sitting room through full curtains, or upholster a domestic accent chair where its cream and charcoal detailing can be appreciated close up. Pair it with chalky ivory, aged wood and muted brown rather than cool white to keep the saffron tone inviting.
Use the warm saffron ground to bring pattern and golden depth to curtains or tailored domestic upholstery.
