Peak Saffron

Allan FabricL9404-09

Peak Saffron is a vivid golden cloth with a subtle linen-matt texture and a gently heathered surface. Its colour reads as warm and sunlit, with a grounded, natural look rather than a glossy finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% Virgin Wool, 36% Linen and 8% Polyamide, this Allan fabric has a dry, tactile handle and a clean, plain appearance with no visible repeat. The 140cm approximate width makes it practical for larger upholstered pieces or relaxed window treatment, while the Q 8 + T 3 care code supports considered use. In this colourway, the saffron gold shade feels rich and luminous, with fine weave movement that softens the surface and keeps it from looking flat. The overall effect is warm, tailored and quietly textured, with enough body to sit neatly on furniture or hang with structure.

How to use it

Use Peak Saffron to lift walnut, oak or dark painted joinery, where the warm gold tone will glow against deeper finishes. It also works well with earthy neutrals and olive accents for a layered scheme that feels grounded rather than brash.

A bright saffron tone that adds warmth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
