About this fabric

This colourway of Allan feels balanced and understated, with a grey base lifted by faint cool undertones and fine linen-like slubbing across the weave. The fabric is composed of 56% virgin wool, 36% linen and 8% polyamide, and it has an approximate width of 140cm. With no repeat visible at 0cm vertical and horizontal, the emphasis stays on the texture and tone rather than pattern. The finish looks smart and versatile, with enough substance for upholstery while still feeling suitable for drapery and relaxed interior schemes.

How to use it

Use Peak Slate on a sofa, ottoman or simple curtains where you want a disciplined grey with a softened, textile-rich surface. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and deeper charcoal accents.

Its muted slate tone works beautifully across tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
