About this fabric

Woven in 45% viscose, 28% cotton, 23% linen and 4% polyester, Massi Charcoal has a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats in a small-scale vertical motif, with elongated marks that read almost like raindrops or stitched dashes across the cloth. Its charcoal ground is softened by silver-grey highlights and lighter yarns, giving the surface depth without looking shiny or severe. At approximately 142cm wide, it offers a practical width for schemes that need a disciplined, tailored finish. The overall effect is smart and composed, with enough movement in the weave to stop the grey from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this charcoal colourway on an upholstered chair or bench where the linear pattern can add interest without overpowering the room. It also works well for structured curtains in a contemporary interior, especially alongside pale timber, stone or matte black accents.

A restrained charcoal geometric that brings texture and structure to upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
