Carlo FabricL9251-03

Meuron Smoke shows the Carlo design in a soft, smoky grey with pale ivory ground between its layered horizontal bands. The effect is calm and textural, with a gentle movement that feels refined rather than stark.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a light smoke grey, softened by warm undertones and broken up by an ivory ground that keeps the surface airy. The layered horizontal motif has a subtle, striated texture that gives the fabric depth without making it feel heavy. Woven in 100% polyester, it comes in an extra-wide width of approximately 300cm, which is especially useful for broader drops and generous upholstery runs. The repeat is V 56cm / H 29cm approx, so the horizontal rhythm has a measured, contemporary scale. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z, it is a practical decorative fabric with a polished, understated finish.

How to use it

Use it where you want a restrained, architectural texture: it would soften a modern sofa or add quiet movement to long curtains in a pale room. The smoke-grey tone sits especially well with chalk white, putty, and weathered wood.

A quiet, textural grey that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or softly filtered curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
