About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and designed for curtaining, Xtra Wide Chios Smoke has a cool, smoke-grey tone that reads muted rather than stark. The cloth is 300 cm wide, making it especially suitable for wide curtains and broad window spans with fewer joins. It is a plain fabric, but the lead band woven into the selvedge adds a practical finishing detail without interrupting the restrained surface. With no rub test noted, it is best approached as a curtain fabric rather than an upholstery cloth. The overall effect is understated and smart, with a fine woven texture that softens the grey and keeps it from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want a tailored, architectural window treatment in a neutral scheme. Its cool grey tone sits neatly with white walls, pale timber, black accents, or deeper charcoal upholstery.

A quiet smoke grey that works beautifully for long, tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
