About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, this Ashley Wilde fabric has the dry, natural handle you can see in the subtle crosshatch of the cloth. At 142cm wide and with an 18,000 rub test, it is suitable for light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds. The shade reads as a soft, misted grey with a gentle warmth rather than a hard blue cast, so it feels relaxed but still polished. Its plain surface and medium-weight structure make it a practical choice where you want texture without pattern.

How to use it

Use Loire Smoke on a compact armchair, dining seats or tailored curtains when you want a neutral that feels softer than stark grey. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white and muted blue-green accents.

A calm smoke-grey plain that brings a clean, tailored finish to rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
