Loire Silver

Verona Collection FabricLOIRE

Loire Silver is a softly reflective plain with a cool silver-grey cast and a fine, linen-rich surface. The close weave gives it a calm, tailored look that reads crisp rather than heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Silver has the natural character you expect from a cotton-linen blend, with a subtle slub and a dry matte finish visible across the swatch. The colour is a restrained silver grey rather than a bright metallic tone, so it sits easily in contemporary interiors and softens the light instead of bouncing it harshly. With a width of 142cm and an 18,000 rub test, it is suited to light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds. At 483gsm and 340gsm, it has enough substance for structured soft furnishings while still keeping the plain, understated drape shown here.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a neat armchair, bench cushion or relaxed curtain to bring a cool, composed note to pale timber, stone and chalky neutrals. It works especially well where you want texture and tone more than pattern.

A clean silver-grey plain that feels quietly tailored and easy to layer.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
