About this fabric
Woven in 71% polyester and 29% cotton, Isla Steel is supplied as a drapes-only fabric with a width of 140cm and a substantial 318gsm weight. The visible surface has a fine, all-over texture that gives the steel grey colour a gentle depth without obvious pattern contrast. Its cool, misted grey character feels clean and versatile, with just enough texture to catch the light softly across the cloth. With no rub test noted, it is best considered for curtains and decorative window treatments rather than upholstery.
How to use it
Use Isla Steel for tailored curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or layered sheers where a cool grey ground will sit quietly against pale timber, white walls and brushed metal finishes. The muted steel tone works especially well in modern, coastal or minimalist schemes.
