Melrose Denim

Tatton Park Collection FabricMELROSE

Melrose Denim shows a finely drawn all-over botanical pattern in a cool, softly muted grey. The small-scale motif gives the colourway a calm, tailored look with just enough detail to hold interest.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied as drapes only, Melrose Denim has a smooth, medium-weight feel that suits curtain making beautifully. The fabric measures 140cm wide and the pattern repeats every 10.5cm vertically and 8cm horizontally, helping the leafy design fall in a neat, regular rhythm. Visually, this colourway reads as a soft dove grey with slightly darker outlining, so the floral-botanical motif feels crisp rather than busy. At 250gsm, it has enough body for elegant window treatments while still keeping a gentle, refined drape.

How to use it

Use Melrose Denim for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or layered sheers in rooms that need a quiet, polished finish. Its cool grey tone works especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper ink blue upholstery.

A refined grey floral that pairs easily with pale woods, stone and deeper navy accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Melrose Denim without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
