Neoma Slate

Neoma Slate has a cool, low-light charcoal look that reads as layered and textural rather than flat. The woven surface gives the colourway a subdued depth that feels tailored and contemporary.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Starlette Collection, Neoma Slate is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only. The cloth has a textured woven construction with an abstract stepped pattern, and the slate-grey ground is broken up by darker charcoal striations that create a shaded, almost brushed effect. With a width of 140cm, a vertical repeat of 23.5cm and a horizontal repeat of 24cm, it is designed for a patterned curtain application rather than upholstery. At 263gsm, it has enough body to hang well while still reading as a decorative furnishing textile, and the N/A rub test confirms it is not specified for hard-wearing seating use.

How to use it

Use Neoma Slate for made-to-measure curtains in a study, media room or bedroom where the cool grey tone can anchor the scheme. It pairs well with pale plaster, blackened metal and oak for a crisp, architectural finish.

A cool slate ground with woven depth that works beautifully for tailored curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
