Disley Slate

Tatton Park Collection FabricDISLEY

Disley Slate shows a cool, softly reflective grey ground with a finely textured geometric pattern running across the surface. The repeating circular motif reads neatly and evenly, giving the fabric a tailored, understated look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, this Ashley Wilde fabric has a crisp, practical body suited to structured window dressing. The design is marked by a small-scale, pebble-like texture that forms concentric circular medallions, which become more visible in the light grey-on-slate contrast. At 139cm wide with a 53.5cm vertical repeat and 23cm horizontal repeat, it offers a clear rhythm across curtains and blinds. The 250gsm weight gives it enough substance to hang cleanly while still reading as a fabric rather than a heavy upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Its cool slate colouring works well in contemporary schemes with pale plaster walls, brushed steel, and smoky timber finishes. Use it for tailored curtains where the subtle geometric texture can add depth without interrupting a calm, tonal room.

A cool slate tone that gives this textured geometric a refined, quietly contemporary feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Disley Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
