About this fabric
Part of Ashley Wilde’s Textures 2 Collection, Isla Peacock is a drapes-only fabric woven from 71% polyester and 29% cotton. At 140cm wide and with a weight of 318 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang with body while still keeping a supple, upholstered-looking weave. The colour is a softened teal-green with a slightly smoky cast, so it feels cooler and more restrained than a vivid peacock tone. The close texture gives the cloth a tailored, lightly tactile finish rather than a smooth flat surface, making the colour appear richer in the folds. Rub test results are N/A, reinforcing its specification as a decorative window fabric rather than an upholstery cloth.
How to use it
Use Isla Peacock for full-length curtains or Roman blinds where its muted green can add depth without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky neutrals and brass details, which bring out the cooler peacock undertone.
