About this fabric

This colourway has a gentle beige warmth, with just enough linen texture visible to keep the surface from feeling heavy or shiny. The cloth is made from 70% cotton and 30% linen, and its 18,000 rub test makes it suitable for light domestic upholstery as well as drapes and blinds. At 142cm wide and 340gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-weight range that gives it a reassuring body without losing softness. The finish feels relaxed and natural, which suits interiors that want a light, lived-in neutral rather than a stark cream.

How to use it

Use Loire Wheat on bench cushions, occasional chairs or relaxed curtains where its muted beige tone can soften stronger woods and painted finishes. It works especially well with chalky whites, putty greys and warm oak.

A quiet neutral that layers easily with natural woods, stone and softer accent colours.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
