Dandy Charcoal

Dandy FabricL9467-14

Dandy Charcoal is a deep, even charcoal with a soft matte look and a fine diagonal twill visible across the surface. The colour reads cool and subdued, with just enough warmth in the weave to stop it feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% Virgin Wool, this Larsen fabric has a refined cloth handle and a subtle diagonal texture that gives the charcoal shade gentle movement in the light. The pattern is effectively plain, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, so the interest comes from the weave rather than motif. At 139cm approx wide, it is a practical cloth for tailored schemes where a darker neutral is needed. The deep grey-brown cast of the charcoal makes it feel grounded and smart, while the wool surface keeps the finish soft rather than glossy. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for specification-led projects.

How to use it

Use this charcoal on upholstered seating, banquettes or headboards where the subtle twill can read properly at close range. It works especially well with pale walls, walnut, brushed metal and creamy wool accessories for contrast.

Pairs neatly with pale timber, black accents and crisp white linens for a clean, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
