About this fabric

This colourway shows a restrained warm beige with a clay undertone, so it feels gentler and earthier than a cooler stone neutral. The cloth has a neat, even weave that gives the surface a subtle diagonal texture in the light, and the plain design keeps the focus on the tone itself. Made in 100% Virgin Wool, it offers a naturally rich handle, while the approx. 139cm width and V 0cm / H 0cm repeat make it easy to work across upholstery projects without pattern matching. The finish feels smart and understated, with a calm matte look that suits clean-lined furniture.

How to use it

Use Dandy Clay on a tailored sofa or occasional chair to add warmth to pale timber, limestone and aged brass. Its muted clay-beige shade also layers well with olive, tobacco and soft white for a composed, tonal scheme.

A soft, tailored neutral that brings warmth without reading heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
