About this fabric

This colourway has a steady, matte appearance that lets the warm red-brown tone feel saturated without looking glossy. Woven in 100% virgin wool, it has the natural character you expect from a textile with this much body, and the approx. 139cm width gives useful coverage for upholstery projects. The design has no visible repeat, which keeps the surface calm and uninterrupted in the finished room. Care is listed as Q 8 + T 3, with fire code √BM.

How to use it

Use Agate on a sofa, ottoman or dining chairs where its burnt terracotta tone can bring warmth against pale plaster, oak or deep brown wood. It also works well with olive, tobacco and aged brass for a grounded, layered scheme.

A warm, grounded wool that adds depth and easy elegance to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
