Peak Ebony

Allan FabricL9404-16

Peak Ebony is a near-black colourway with a calm, matte depth and a fine linen-rich texture visible across the surface. The tone reads as a very dark ebony rather than a flat jet black, with subtle fibre movement catching the light.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% Virgin Wool, 36% Linen and 8% Polyamide, this Allan fabric has the dry, tailored handle of a smart wool-linen cloth. The surface shows a fine, closely worked weave with faint vertical striations that keep the deep black-brown ebony tone from looking flat. At approximately 140cm wide and with no repeat (V 0cm / H 0cm approx), it is straightforward to cut for clean-lined furnishings. The fire code √BM and care code Q 8 + T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Peak Ebony for structured sofas, headboards or dining chairs where the dark, even ground can sharpen pale woods, brass or stone. It also suits full-length curtains when you want a dramatic, low-sheen backdrop with a tailored finish.

A dark, understated cloth that works well for tailored upholstery or sleek curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
