Peak Clay is a quietly earthy plain with a warm beige base and a gently chalky, linen-led surface. The colour sits between sand and clay, giving the swatch a calm, natural depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 56% virgin wool, 36% linen and 8% polyamide, Allan in Peak Clay has a balanced handle that feels substantial without looking heavy. The cloth shows a fine, even weave with subtle slub and fibre movement, which adds texture to the otherwise plain surface. Its warm clay-beige tone is muted rather than golden, so it reads soft and grounded rather than bright. With an approximate width of 140cm and no repeat, it is an easy option for clean-lined schemes where the texture needs to do the talking. The √BM fire code and Q 8 + T 3 care marking make it a practical specification-led choice for interiors.

How to use it

Use Peak Clay on a sofa, occasional chair or banquette if you want a tonal neutral with a warmer, more tactile feel than a flat stone. It also sits well at the window in relaxed curtains, where the beige-clay colour will soften daylight without feeling stark.

A soft clay beige that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
