Davis Clay

Allan FabricL9407-02

Davis Clay is a softly luminous neutral with a gentle cream-beige cast and a faintly textural weave. In this colourway, the surface reads calm and understated rather than stark, with just enough warmth to soften a room.

About this fabric

This Allan collection fabric by Larsen is composed of 66% cotton, 17% acrylic and 17% polyester, with a width of approximately 143cm and a vertical/horizontal repeat of about 4cm. The swatch shows a very subtle woven texture rather than a printed effect, giving the colour a mellow, cloth-like depth. Davis Clay sits in a warm cream family with a delicate beige undertone, so it feels light and inviting without drifting yellow. It is finished with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, making it a practical choice for interiors where a refined neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use this shade to brighten tailored upholstery, relaxed curtains or layered cushions where a warm cream is wanted instead of a sharp white. It pairs especially well with pale timber, tan leather and muted stone finishes.

A quiet neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and warmer stone tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
