About this fabric

The surface is built from closely spaced horizontal fibres, with subtle variation in width, direction and tone across the warm beige ground. Occasional darker flecks and uneven strand edges give this colourway a tactile, lightly rustic depth rather than a flat printed finish. Made from 97% Water Hyacinth and 3% Cotton, it is catalogued as wallpaper and has an approximate vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm. The pale natural shade keeps the overall effect calm and airy while the linear texture adds quiet visual movement.

How to use it

Use this warm straw colourway to soften a calm, natural-toned room, particularly alongside pale timber, linen and off-white furnishings. The horizontal fibre direction adds gentle width and texture without introducing a strong graphic motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
