About this fabric

Fine straw lines run closely across the ivory ground, with slight variation that keeps the stripe from looking rigid or stark. The warm beige tone reads softly against the pale base, creating a calm, sunlit impression rather than a high-contrast pattern. In the gathered swatch, the woven surface catches light along the raised stripes while the folds add gentle depth. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Filey Straw for full-length curtains, Roman blinds or relaxed window treatments where its warm straw tone can soften an ivory, cream or natural-toned room. Its narrow stripe also works well alongside plain linens and lightly textured upholstery without introducing a strong graphic contrast.

The fine straw-and-ivory stripe brings a warm, quietly textured finish to curtains and relaxed blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
