Filey Terracotta

Filey Fabric

Filey Terracotta combines fine terracotta stripes with a pale warm-neutral ground, creating a softly textured colourway with a gentle, weathered character. The narrow woven lines shift subtly as the cloth folds, bringing depth without a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

The visible design is made from closely spaced vertical stripes, with muted red-orange terracotta set against pale cream and soft grey-beige threads. A fine diagonal weave gives the surface a lightly ribbed appearance, while the relaxed folds show how the colour deepens where the cloth overlaps. The overall effect is warm but restrained rather than bright, with the neutral ground softening the terracotta. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature data has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Filey Terracotta with chalky neutrals, warm timber and natural textures for a calm, layered scheme. Its muted red-orange stripe works particularly well on relaxed seating or full-length curtains where the folds can reveal the subtle woven variation.

Use the warm terracotta stripe to add gentle colour and texture to relaxed upholstery or softly dressed windows.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
