About this fabric

The colourway pairs a pale ground with muted Delft-blue lines, giving the stripe a crisp but gently softened appearance. Its narrow, slightly irregular stripes create a small-scale rhythm rather than a bold graphic effect. The cloth looks fine and fluid in the image, with the blue lines bending naturally across the draped folds. The close spacing and cool tonal contrast give Filey Delft a quietly smart character.

How to use it

Use Filey Delft for full-length curtains where its cool blue pinstripes can run vertically and emphasise the fall of the cloth. It would sit comfortably with white, pale grey or other cool, restrained tones.

A fine, fluid stripe suited to relaxed curtains and softly gathered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
