About this fabric

The colour reads as warm clay-brown rather than bright red, with gentle tonal shifts where the fabric bends and catches the light. A fine, closely packed weave is clearly visible across the surface, creating subtle texture without a distinct printed motif. The cloth forms soft, fluid folds while retaining enough visual density to suit both upholstery and drapery. Its earthy depth would sit comfortably alongside natural timber, warm neutrals and darker brown accents.

How to use it

Use Edinburgh Henna to introduce a grounded terracotta note on a reading chair, upholstered bench or full-length curtain, pairing it with creamy walls and aged wood.
