Gila Saffron

Alta FabricL9349-04

Gila Saffron is a warm, golden-toned woven with a fine all-over texture and an earthy, softly variegated surface. The shade reads as a deep saffron gold rather than a bright yellow, giving the cloth a grounded, tailored look.

About this fabric

This colourway has a dense, pebble-like texture that catches the light in tiny flecks across the surface, softening the overall saffron tone. The 137cm approx width makes it practical for upholstery projects, while the 32% Virgin Wool, 31% Polyacrylic, 28% Cotton and 9% Polyester composition gives it a substantial, cloth-like handle. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, the design reads as a clean plain texture rather than a patterned repeat. The warm gold-brown depth in the image feels slightly muted and sophisticated, with just enough brightness to lift a room.

How to use it

Use Gila Saffron on an armchair, banquette or headboard where its rich golden note can add warmth without overpowering the scheme. It pairs especially well with walnut woods, tan leather and deep olive or charcoal accents.

A warm saffron tone that brings a tailored, quietly luxurious finish to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
