Willis Saffron
Allan FabricL9403-04
Willis in Saffron has a warm, sun-baked gold tone with a softly mottled woven surface. The close weave gives the colour a grounded, tactile look rather than a shiny finish.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a dense, small-scale weave in saffron gold, with brown and ochre notes that deepen the surface and stop it reading too bright. The cloth is a practical mid-weight fabric at approx. 145cm wide, with no repeat, making it straightforward for upholstery or drapery projects. Its composition of 33% cotton, 20% polyester, 18% acrylic, 17% wool and 12% linen suggests a blend that balances handle, texture and durability. The overall effect is warm and smart, with the tiny woven structure adding depth and a slightly rustic polish.
How to use it
Use this shade on a tailored chair, banquette or cushions where its golden warmth can lift darker timber and leather. It also works well at the window if you want a rich, earthy glow without a bold pattern.
Pair with walnut woods, tobacco leathers and muted neutrals for a warm, tailored scheme.

Pairs well with
Willis Saffron is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
