About this fabric

This 300gsm fabric has a tactile woven appearance, with the pale chevrons standing clearly against the golden ground. Its 64cm vertical pattern repeat gives the small-scale zigzag motif a measured rhythm across the cloth, while the 137cm usable width offers practical coverage for both upholstery and window treatments. The 26 threads-per-centimetre construction helps explain the compact, even surface visible in the swatch. Sauterne reads warmer and more softly burnished than a clear lemon yellow, making the ivory lines feel especially clean by contrast.

How to use it

Use Dhurrie Sauterne to warm a reading chair, bench or scatter cushion, or introduce it as structured curtains against chalky neutrals. Its saffron depth works particularly well with natural wood, tan leather and soft ivory.

Use the warm saffron ground and crisp ivory zigzags to bring graphic energy to upholstery, cushions or tailored curtains.
