About this fabric

The muted taupe shade reads gentle and understated, while the fine pale lines create a continuous abstract drawing across the cloth. Its 52cm vertical and 138cm horizontal pattern repeats give the design a broad, flowing layout rather than a small scattered motif. At 220gsm and 138cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The listed construction includes 44 threads per centimetre, supporting the close, even visual texture seen in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Epsilon Putty where a room needs warmth without a strong beige cast: on a relaxed armchair, tailored cushions or full-length curtains. Pair its pale taupe ground with chalky whites, natural timber and soft grey accents to keep the abstract linework crisp but quiet.

A softly muted taupe ground and fine pale linework bring gentle structure to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
