Motion Putty

Motion Fabric

Motion Putty is a quiet, warm taupe with a gently greyed putty cast. Its close, low-contrast weave gives the surface a softly textured appearance rather than a completely flat finish.

About this fabric

The image shows a plain woven fabric in a light putty shade, balanced between beige and soft grey. Fine vertical and horizontal yarn variation creates a restrained, almost crosshatched grain across the surface. The tone remains matte and muted, with only slight tonal shifts where the weave catches the light. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so the character of this colourway is defined here by its visible texture and softly neutral colour.

How to use it

Use Motion Putty to warm a pale room without introducing a strong colour contrast; it would sit naturally with chalky whites, light timber and deeper taupe accents. Its understated woven grain can also soften more graphic patterns when used on a chair, sofa or full-length curtain.

Its softly muted putty tone brings gentle warmth to upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
