About this fabric

This fabric from Kirkby Design’s Motion collection combines a cool, muted mauve cast with taupe-grey shading, giving the surface a refined, slightly smoky appearance. Fine vertical striations are visible across the swatch, while delicate tonal shifts stop the colour from reading as flat. The plain, even construction makes the woven texture the defining visual feature of this colourway.

How to use it

Use Motion Mauve to soften a room with its greyed mauve tone, pairing it with chalky neutrals, warm timber and deeper plum or charcoal accents. Its restrained texture is suited to upholstered seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.
