About this fabric
The colour sits between grey and taupe, with a faint mauve cast that becomes more apparent in the softer areas of the weave. Fine tonal flecks and lightly distressed horizontal and vertical lines form broad, uneven rectangular sections rather than a sharp geometric check. The dense-looking woven surface has enough texture to catch the light without becoming glossy, keeping the overall effect restrained and tactile. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this colourway.
How to use it
Pair this cool mauve taupe with chalky whites, mushroom neutrals and weathered timber for a calm, tailored scheme. Its softly gridded surface would suit a structured armchair, dining seat or upholstered headboard where the pattern can be appreciated at close range.
Use this softly mauve taupe weave to bring understated structure to contemporary upholstery and tailored occasional pieces.
Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside 02 Moonstone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
