About this fabric
The 300gsm construction gives Alvar Topaz a versatile mid-weight presence, suitable for both upholstery and drapery. Across the swatch, the muted mauve-taupe shade reads soft and slightly warm, while the close weave creates a restrained, lightly textured finish. With a 144cm usable width and 35m standard length, it is practical for larger interior applications. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, confirming the plain, non-directional appearance visible here.
How to use it
Use Alvar Topaz to soften a neutral room with a dusky mauve note: it would work equally well on a tailored occasional chair or full-length curtains. Pair it with warm ivory, mushroom, pale timber and brushed metal so the colour’s gentle depth remains visible.
