Crease Taupe

Edo Fabrics FabricZOF0057-02

Crease Taupe has a softly weathered taupe surface, overlaid with pale intersecting lines that form repeated angular panels. Its low-contrast drawing is lifted by delicate vertical striations and lightly distressed tonal variation.

About this fabric

At 340 gsm, this is a substantial woven textile with a 137 cm useable width and 113 threads per cm. The colour reads as a muted, slightly rosy taupe rather than a cool grey, with chalky lines catching across the surface in a restrained geometric grid. Intersecting diagonals and verticals create a measured repeat of 44 cm vertically by 34.6 cm horizontally, while the worn-looking lighter marks keep the pattern from feeling overly crisp. The 30 m standard length makes this colourway practical to specify across a coordinated interior.

How to use it

Use this softly mauve taupe on a tailored chair, bench or full-length curtain where its pale linework can sit against warm ivory, stone and deeper brown accents. The weathered surface brings gentle depth without overpowering a room.

Pair the softly rosy taupe ground with chalky neutrals and tailored furnishings for a quietly refined scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crease Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
