About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet weighs 585gsm and has a 138cm usable width, giving the cloth a substantial presence for upholstery. The design is formed from repeated, softly edged ivory-stone motifs against a cooler taupe-grey ground, creating a compact organic geometry rather than a sharply defined trellis. With a 57cm vertical repeat and 34cm horizontal repeat, the pattern reads as a medium-scale surface across a chair, headboard or sofa. The supplied construction of 100 threads per cm supports the dense appearance visible in the swatch, while the pile catches the light subtly across the stone colour.

How to use it

Use Ikat Spot Stone on a reading chair, ottoman or tailored sofa where its calm taupe-grey base can sit with natural oak, warm white walls and brushed metal. The pale motif adds gentle contrast without introducing a strong accent colour.
