About this fabric

The surface is visually plain, but fine vertical threads create delicate striations and a lightly irregular texture. Military olive provides a grounded, desaturated colour rather than a bright or strongly yellow green, giving the cloth a calm, earthy depth. Subtle tonal variation across the face keeps the solid colour from appearing flat. The dense-looking woven construction makes this fabric well suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use Motion Military on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its greyed olive tone can sit comfortably with warm timber, stone, tan leather and other muted neutrals. Its understated texture also works well in a layered, nature-led scheme without competing with patterned cushions or artwork.
