Motion Raven

Motion Fabric

Motion Raven has a near-black charcoal ground with a quiet, vertically drawn weave. Fine graphite-like variation moves through the surface, giving the dark colour depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

Motion Raven is shown here as a deep raven charcoal, close to black but softened by fine tonal variation across the surface. Its subtle vertical strié and lightly textured weave stop the dark shade from appearing flat, with faint graphite highlights catching through the cloth. The image shows a visually substantial woven surface, making upholstery the most natural classification for this textile. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use this near-black charcoal on a structured sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its restrained vertical texture can add depth without competing with the room. Pair it with warm timber or pale stone to soften the intensity of the raven tone.

A near-black charcoal weave with subtle vertical movement for tailored upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
