Orion Nuit

Orion Ii Fabric

Orion Nuit presents a near-black textile surface cut through with horizontal bands of charcoal, black and pale grey. The lower portion is especially distinctive, with dense peppered flecks that give the dark colourway a grainy, distressed depth.

About this fabric

Across the swatch, a broad near-black field is interrupted by fine horizontal lines and a pronounced transition into mottled grey. The pale grey area is densely speckled rather than flat, while the black sections retain faint linear marks that subtly catch the light. This is a cool, high-contrast colourway with a graphic, signal-like rhythm rather than a soft plain. The supplied record lists no composition, width, rub test or performance features, so no technical performance claim is made here. From its visibly substantial, textured appearance, we classify Orion Nuit for upholstery.

How to use it

Use Orion Nuit as a deep near-black anchor on a tailored seat or occasional chair, balancing its pale grey banding with chalk, concrete or soft grey accents.

A near-black, horizontally textured colourway with pale grey flecks and strong graphic depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
